What is the PCO Licence?

The PCO Licence (Public Carriage Office), is also known as Private Hire Driver Licence, which is issued by TFL (Transport for London) the PCO office, this allows you to work as a minicab driver or chauffeur within the TFL area. The licence is valid for 3 years and with the PCO Licence, you are able to work for private operators as a driver.

Steps to get licensed

    • 1. Apply for Enhanced DBS Check Cost approximately : £40

 

    • 2. Medical Test Cost approximately : £80 to £120

 

    • 3. Topographical Test, Find and book with an accredited test centre, Cost approximately : £75

 

    • 4. Apply for the license
