What began as a modest operation at Tolworth Station in 1992 has since grown into one of the most respected and dynamic transport groups in the South East — Zedcarz Group.

It all started with just three vehicles and a bold vision. Founder Zed Juneja believed that private hire services could be more than just transport — they could be a reliable, personalised experience built on trust and service excellence. That vision quickly resonated with passengers, and within two years, Zedcarz had expanded its fleet to over 30 vehicles. Word of mouth spread, and Zedcarz became synonymous with professionalism and dependability.



But Zedcarz was never content with standing still. In 2009, the company took its first bold step towards expansion by acquiring Albert Cars, a trusted local operator in Walton. This move wasn’t just about adding cars to the fleet — it was the beginning of a strategic journey to build a group of like-minded operators under one banner.

Just a year later, in 2010, Zedcarz made two major acquisitions: Maxi Cars, then Surrey’s largest private hire company, and Jubilee Cars, known for its reliable airport transfer services. These additions marked a turning point, extending the group’s reach and diversifying its offerings.

Over the next few years, the pace didn’t slow. In 2012, Palace Cars joined the group, followed by Green Leaf Transportation in 2013, bringing with it a focus on environmentally conscious travel. Then in 2016, the acquisitions of Mogul Cars and the Oak Market Group added new layers of capability, from community-oriented transport to more specialised private hire services.

As Zedcarz continued to grow, so did its reputation. In 2018, Saxon Cars came on board, further strengthening the group’s regional presence. Crown Cars followed in 2019, and in 2022, Travelsure became part of the expanding family, enhancing the group's operational footprint and service range.

The momentum continued. In 2023, Conquest Cars — known for its efficiency and loyal customer base — was brought into the fold. Then in 2024, Zedcarz stepped confidently into the luxury market with the acquisition of Rays Executive Drive, a premium chauffeur service offering bespoke travel experiences.

Today, Zedcarz Group is much more than a private hire company. It is a multi-faceted transport and logistics provider, powered by decades of experience, a commitment to excellence, and a carefully curated collection of acquisitions. Each company brought into the fold has helped shape what Zedcarz is today — a group united by service, driven by innovation, and constantly moving forward.
