Our Safeguarding Standards
To maintain impeccable service standards and meet local authority requirements, every member of our SEN and specialist transport crew:
- Holds an enhanced DBS check
- Is trained in PATS (Passenger Assistant Training)
- Is trained in First Aid at work
- Receives dedicated Child Safeguarding training
Our code of good practice supports students, parents, educational institutions, passenger assistants and drivers alike, so every journey is safe and efficient.

If your local authority has assessed your child as eligible, they will arrange transport through their approved provider list, which includes Zedcarz for Kingston, Merton, Sutton and Surrey. Contact your council's SEN transport team to be added to a route.
Is SEN transport available outside term time?
SEN transport is typically arranged for term-time school routes, though we can discuss additional journeys directly with families.
