What began as a modest operation at Tolworth Station in 1992 has grown into one of the most respected and dynamic transport groups in the South East, Zedcarz Group.

It started with just three vehicles and a clear vision. Founder Zed Juneja believed that private hire could be more than simply getting from one place to another, it could be a reliable and personal service built on trust, consistency, and genuine care. That vision quickly connected with customers, and within just two years the fleet had expanded to more than thirty vehicles, with a growing reputation for professionalism and dependability.



From those early days, the journey has been shaped not only by growth, but by the people behind it. Drivers, office teams, and loyal customers have all played an important role in building the business step by step. Their trust and continued support have been at the heart of everything Zedcarz has achieved.

Expansion

Over the past 15 years, Zedcarz has strategically acquired 11 well-established private hire firms. These acquisitions have been a key part of our plans to broaden our services and cater to a wider range of clients across Surrey and the surrounding areas.



These acquired firms have a rich history, with some dating back as far as 1966. They have been industry leaders in chauffeur services, airport transfers, school runs, hospital work, and both long and short distance transfers. By incorporating these firms into our operations, we have been able to enhance our service offerings and provide a comprehensive solution for our valued clients.

Overcoming Adversity

Zedcarz, throughout its long years in operations, has faced numerous struggles. However, none were as impactful as the COVID-19 pandemic. With travel restrictions imposed and people urged to stay at home, our business faced a significant decline in demand.



Fortunately, our contracts in healthcare catering to several hospitals and pharmacies in the local area provided a lifeline. Although the need for travel was greatly reduced, we were able to continue serving these essential establishments.

During this tough period, difficult decisions had to be made to ensure the survival of our business. We implemented cost-cutting measures and streamlined our operations, all with the goal of keeping Zedcarz afloat.

After months of perseverance and determination, we managed to weather the storm. As restrictions eased and the world began to recover, Zedcarz emerged from the crisis stronger than ever before. Our commitment to providing exceptional service and adapting to the changing landscape allowed us to not only survive but thrive.

The Next Generation

In March 2023, Zed Juneja, made a significant decision by appointing his son, Rahan Juneja, as the Director of Zedcarz. This appointment brought a new wave of passion and vision to the business. Rahan is a forward-thinking individual with a keen interest in technology and automation. He aims to modernise its operations while staying true to the core principle that Zedcarz has always stood by - providing an exceptional service and reliability.

Our Growing Story

To date, Zedcarz has proudly completed over 1.8 million passenger journeys across London and Surrey. Following our expansion into the courier sector, we now also manage the secure delivery of around 3,000 parcels every single day. Serving over 700 corporate accounts and hundreds of individual clients, we have earned an enviable reputation as a highly reliable, trusted partner in both passenger transportation and corporate logistics.
