What Dads really want on Fathers Day
Father’s Day is ideally a day of breakfast in bed and carefully selected socks. Whether it’s his first or his fifteenth, what can you do to make this Father’s Day special? Here are some tips (we stand by) in creating the perfect day.

1. Remove the pressure. What do Fathers wants most?
To have a complete pressure free day. Even from the pressure of having a “perfect day.” Dad would really appreciate no hassles, no tasks, no having to fix anything, and no rushing around on this special day. Let him fully relax, so he can enjoy his second wish…
2. Spend time together. Enjoying each other’s company as a family seems simple. But it’s so easy to get distracted from your time together when you get caught up in cooking, running down to the shops, or the urge to finish up an assignment. Get out of the house if needs be, but take this day to emphasise on spending time together as a family. Go for a walk, have a picnic, lie in a sofa swing together, share old memories with each other. Now that’s a day Dad will really remember! (and want)

3. Focus on him. Instead of arranging everything out for him, give him the choice and freedom of what he would like to do. He will love getting to plan out his own day for once. If he’s a sports fan, accompany him to see a favorite team play. If fishing is his passion, even if you’re a bit squeamish (give it a go), go along with him if he wants you to. He deserves it! If he wants a few hours to himself, indulge him, let him make the most out of his special day.
4. Travel in style. Don’t stop their! Go the extra mile and rid the trouble of your father having to drive everywhere on his special day. Why not start as you mean to go on and take Dad out in style?
